New Delhi, 28 October (H.S.): External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar will visit the United States to participate in the G20 and Quad Foreign Ministers’ Meetings scheduled to be held in Atlanta from October 30 to 31. He will subsequently lead India’s delegation to the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM), scheduled to take place in St John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, from November 1 to 4.

Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, “Alongside the G20 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting, the External Affairs Minister will also participate in the Quad Foreign Ministers’ Meeting and hold several bilateral meetings with his counterparts.”

Speaking about the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting, Randhir Jaiswal said its theme this year is “Accelerating Partnerships and Investment for a Prosperous Commonwealth”.

“India looks forward to participating in this event,” he added.
