Mumbai, 27 October (H.S.): Shah Rukh Khan is set to bring a compelling blend of action and romance to the screen in his upcoming film ‘King’, with the actor unveiling a striking new poster that offers a glimpse of his character’s intense persona.

In the newly released poster, Shah Rukh is seen holding a gun in one hand and a rose between his lips. His stern expression and piercing gaze lend the image an air of danger, while the rose evokes the romantic side that has long been associated with the superstar. The look hints at a character who combines a formidable action-oriented presence with an unmistakably romantic streak.

Sporting white hair and a beard, the actor appears in a rugged, rough-edged avatar that marks a departure from many of his earlier romantic roles. Sharing the poster, he wrote, “Aaj phir yaad aaya… qaatil nahin… aashiq hoon…” (“I remembered once again… I am not a killer, but a lover.”)

The dialogue offers a glimpse into the contrasting dimensions of his character, suggesting a man whose intensity extends beyond the battlefield of action into the realm of romance. Having impressed audiences with his action-packed performances in films such as ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Jawan’, Shah Rukh has now heightened anticipation among fans with his distinctive look in ‘King’.
