Mumbai, 27 October (H.S.): The makers of ‘OM: Chapter 1’, starring Dhanush and Mammootty, have heightened audience anticipation by unveiling a new teaser introducing Sai Pallavi as IPS officer Nithya Reddy.

In the teaser, the actress appears in a khaki uniform, portraying a police officer with a commanding presence. While the action thriller promises an intriguing narrative, the makers have kept details of how her character will influence the storyline under wraps. Known for her natural screen presence and compelling performances, Sai Pallavi will take on the role of a police officer in the film.

Her portrayal of Nithya Reddy marks a departure from several of her previous on-screen roles. The teaser offers a glimpse of the character’s personality while maintaining the mystery surrounding her role in the plot and her connections with the other characters. Her new look has further fuelled interest in the upcoming film.

Shraddha Agarwal, producer at RTake Studios, described Sai Pallavi as an integral part of the project, praising the honesty and natural quality she brings to her performances. She expressed confidence that the actress would do full justice to the character.

Directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, ‘OM: Chapter 1’ also features Sreeleela and Naseeruddin Shah in significant roles, alongside Dhanush, Mammootty and Sai Pallavi. Produced under the banners of RTake Studios and Wunderbar Films, the film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on November 20, 2026.
