Guwahati, 26 October (HS): The trial in the death case of Assam's celebrated singer Zubeen Garg continued on Monday, with DSP Sandipan Garg appearing before the court to depose as a witness.

Sandipan appeared in court to record his testimony for the first time since his release from jail.

Amritprabha Mahanta, one of the accused in the case, also appeared before the court on Monday, escorted by her lawyers.

Meanwhile, Dev Borkataki, a close friend of Zubeen Garg and owner of NK Productions, appeared before the fast-track court to testify in connection with the case.

The court proceedings are continuing as witnesses are being examined in the case concerning the death of the popular Assamese singer.----------
