Mumbai, 26 October (H.S.): The trailer of ‘Pratap’, an upcoming action-drama starring Amit Sadh and Esha Deol, has been released. Written and directed by Sachin Saraf, the film features Sadh as an encounter specialist police officer whose life takes an unexpected turn when he finds himself behind bars.

The trailer offers glimpses into the officer’s past and present, capturing the circumstances that transform his life. Known for bringing criminals to justice, Pratap suddenly finds himself on the other side of the law, confronting a reality far removed from the authority he once exercised.

The trailer raises several questions about the events that lead a respected police officer to prison and the challenges he faces behind bars. Through action sequences, confrontations and emotional twists, the film explores the dramatic reversal in his circumstances.

Alongside Sadh, the film features Esha Deol, Seema Biswas, Tigmanshu Dhulia and Milind Gunaji in pivotal roles.

According to Sadh, he was drawn to the character of Pratap because it tells the story of a man who has spent his life enforcing the law but eventually finds himself on the opposite side of it. Deol also described the film’s narrative as layered, suggesting that it explores several dimensions of its central story.

Director Sachin Saraf said the film examines decisions, their consequences and the fine line between right and wrong.

Produced by Pradeep Rangwani and presented by UV Films, ‘Pratap’ is scheduled for a theatrical release on November 20, 2026.
