Jarange allegedly

given Rs 500 crore

26 Oct (HS): A Special Investigation Team (SIT) to go to the roots of the audio

clip made open by Maratha Reservation Activist Manoj Jarange Patil. He alleged

that discussion about giving him Rs 500 crore, which was demanded by Shiv Sena

member to BJP leaders, is an issue of controversy. He had appealed to the

Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde to reply to his allegations during the

Dashahara rally.

The three-member

SIT will be led by Additional Police Commissioner Shailesh Balkawde, the other

members being Deputy Commissioners of Police Vijaykant Sagar and Bajrang

Bansode.

Jarange

said that in the audio clip he was given Rs 500 crore through Shrikant Shinde,

has been mentioned. Jarange has demanded enquiry into the audio clip, so that

the faces of the culprits will come to the fore.
