President Aradhana Mishra (Mona) called the court's acquittal of Rahul Gandhi a

major victory. She said on Monday after the court's decision that this lie and

another conspiracy by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to defame Rahul Gandhi had been exposed.

The Congress state president said that today's decision has

rekindled public confidence in the judiciary. She explained that another

conspiracy by the Bharatiya Janata Party has been exposed in the defamation

case being heard in the MP-MLA court in Sultanpur, where the court dismissed

the case, acquitting Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi.
