Kanpur, Oct 26 (HS): Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched

a scathing attack on the Samajwadi Party and the Congress at a public meeting in

Bithoor on Monday. Referring to the Samajwadi Party (SP), he said that both the

senior and junior parties have a deep love for infiltrators. Accusing the

Samajwadi Party of corruption, nepotism, and exploiting the youth, Yogi

Adityanath said that the true nature of those who chant the name of Ram needs

to be revealed. At a program organized on Valmiki Jayanti, he questioned the

opposition's politics and also mentioned development plans.

The Chief Minister, calling the Congress party mentally

deranged and bankrupt, said that the Samajwadi Party had long maintained an

atmosphere of anarchy in the state. He accused the opposition of inciting riots

and engaging in appeasement politics. Yogi said that those with anti-Ram

ideology cannot mislead the public in the name of Lord Ram. He also offered a

message of social harmony, citing the friendship between Lord Ram and

Nishadraj.

The Chief Minister, who arrived in Bithoor, performed puja

at the Valmiki Ashram and addressed a public meeting at the Nanarao Peshwa

Memorial Complex. During the ceremony, he inaugurated and laid the foundation

stone for 48 development projects worth approximately Rs. 411 crore in the

Bilhore and Bithoor assembly constituencies. This included the inauguration of

29 projects and the laying of the foundation stone for 19.

Yogi said the government is working to enhance Bithoor's

religious and historical identity, as well as develop temples and ashrams. He

claimed to have improved law and order and ensured that benefits of government

schemes are delivered without discrimination. Citing the Pradhan Mantri Awas

Yojana, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, and Ujjwala Yojana, he detailed public welfare

schemes, including the distribution of free gas cylinders to eligible women on

Diwali.
