UP CM offer prayers to Lord Vishnu, Goddess Lakshmi, and Moon Deity (Chandradev) on Sharad Purnima

Lucknow, Oct 25 (HS): Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister of

Uttar Pradesh, conveyed heartfelt wishes to the people on the occasion of

Sharad Purnima. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath sent his greetings on X

(previously Twitter) and Facebook, characterizing Sharad Purnima as more than

only a calendar occasion, but also a magnificent festival of nature, health,

and mental cleansing. He prayed to Lord Shri Hari Vishnu, Goddess Lakshmi, and

Chandradev that the holy night send blessings of peace, optimism, prosperity,

and good health into everyone's lives.

He said that the celebration commemorates the natural

transition into autumn, which is marked by the year's most bright full moon and

has profound ecological and spiritual importance. In keeping with the

traditional idea that the moon rains nectar-like energy on this nite, he

emphasized the need of maintaining a healthy, disease-free body (nirogi kaya).

He defined the event as a chance for mental regeneration, bringing happiness,

tranquility, and spiritual enlightenment into people's life.

“Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all of you on

the great festival of spiritual consciousness, well-being, and purity, 'Sharad

Purnima.' In our Indian tradition, Sharad Purnima is not merely a date, but a

grand celebration of nature, health, and the purification of the mind. From

Lord Shri Hari Vishnu, Mother Lakshmi, and the Moon God, may this be the prayer

that tonight's divine night brings to your life the blessings of happiness and

peace, positivity, prosperity, and a healthy body,” mentioned UP CM in a post

on X.
