Guwahati, 25 October (HS): Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday extended his heartfelt greetings to the people on the occasion of Shri Shri Lakshmi Puja, wishing every family happiness, peace and prosperity through the divine blessings of Goddess Lakshmi.

In a social media post, CM Sarma expressed hope that the blessings of the goddess of wealth, fortune and prosperity would bring joy, abundance and well-being into everyone's life.

He also wished that every household would be filled with love, harmony and contentment.

Offering prayers at the feet of Goddess Lakshmi, seated on a lotus, the Chief Minister sought the well-being and prosperity of all and conveyed his sincere wishes to the people on the auspicious occasion.-----------
