Lucknow/Prayagraj, Oct 24 (HS): The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection

Commission, Prayagraj, has issued an official notification (Advertisement No.

08/2026) for direct recruitment to 1,475 vacant Principal positions in

non-government-aided secondary schools (intermediate level) across the state.

The online registration and application process for these positions officially

began on Friday, October 23, 2026.

Commission Chairman Dr. Prashant Kumar stated that the total 1,475 advertised

positions include 1,318 for boys' schools and 157 for girls' schools. The

Commission has implemented a One Time Registration (OTR) system to

facilitate candidates applying for the advertised positions and to ensure

complete purity and transparency in the process. Candidates are required to

complete the OTR process first and only then submit their online application

for the Principal position. No separate, individual consultation will be

provided regarding the required educational qualifications, experience, and

eligibility requirements for the advertised positions. Therefore, candidates

should carefully read the detailed advertisement and instruction manual on the

Commission's official website. Interested candidates who meet the required

qualifications should complete their application process only after thoroughly

studying the detailed advertisement uploaded on the website.

Sanjay Kumar Singh, Deputy Secretary of the Commission, stated that, in

accordance with the key dates related to the Principal recruitment, the

advertisement was published on October 23, 2026. The online registration and

application process also began on the same day, October 23, 2026. The last date

for candidates to submit the online application fee is November 22, 2026. If

any corrections are required to the application form, the last date for such

amendments is November 26, 2026. Finally, the recruitment examination will be

held on January 7, 2027, as scheduled. All eligible candidates are urged to

register on the Commission's portal in a timely manner and complete the

application process carefully, without waiting for the deadline.
