New Delhi, 24 October (H.S.): India on Saturday strongly condemned an attack on a church in the Jordanian city of Karak and reiterated its firm commitment to combating terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs, the attack took place in Karak on October 23, claiming the lives of several innocent people and leaving many others injured.

India expressed its deepest condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the attack and wished a speedy recovery to those injured.

“India unequivocally condemns this heinous attack,” the statement said.

India also conveyed its solidarity with the Government of Jordan and the friendly people of the country during this difficult time. It reaffirmed its strong and unwavering commitment to the fight against terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
