New Delhi, 23 October (H.S.): Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta recently attended a special felicitation and thanksgiving programme organised for Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) ATS (Public Health) employees following the decision to ensure equal pay for equal work.

According to the Chief Minister’s Office, the programme was held after the government’s landmark decision to implement the principle of equal pay for equal work, a move expected to directly benefit approximately 4,000 employees across the national capital.

During the event, Gupta congratulated the employees on the achievement and reiterated the government’s firm commitment to protecting their rights, safeguarding their interests and ensuring their overall welfare.

The decision fulfils a long-standing demand of MCD ATS (Public Health) employees and is expected to improve their standard of living. It marks a significant step towards addressing their concerns over pay parity and recognising their contributions to public health services in the capital.
