Srinagar, Oct 23 (HS): Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Kumar Choudhary on Friday said the BJP is unable to answer the questions of unemployed youth who have come out on the streets.
He was speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a function at Beerwah town in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Taking on the BJP, he said: “Today, every child in the country is out on the streets demanding jobs. Our youth are repeatedly going to Delhi to question the BJP, but the BJP is unable to answer their questions.”
He alleged that the BJP indulges in theft not only of votes but also of words.
Choudhary said Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar has challenged the Constitution of the country, which he said poses a big question for the BJP. “This is not just vote theft; it is tampering with the country’s democracy and Constitution,” he said.
He claimed that the Omar government in Jammu and Kashmir is working honestly despite considerable difficulties and that the promises made to the people will be fulfilled.
The Deputy Chief Minister also said some media representatives do not fulfil their responsibility as the fourth pillar of democracy.
