Mumbai, 22 Oct (HS): Four more accused, including

two women, arrested in connection with attack on actor Tiger Shroff, have been

remanded to police custody till October 26.

Police

suspect that these accused played a key role in bringing the weapons used in

the shooting and delivering them to the shooters. Along with this, Anil Pandit

of Bishnoi gang has also been declared an absconding accused. A total of 10

people have been arrested so far in the case.

The accused, who were produced in the court today,

have been identified as Kunal (21) and Sumit (19), both residents of Sonipat

district in Haryana, while Radha (23) and Babita (23) are from Uttar Pradesh.

All four were arrested by the Delhi Police. They were brought to Mumbai and

presented before the court on Thursday.

Defence lawyers Ajinkya Mirgul and Satyavrat Joshi

opposed the police custody. He submitted that there was no concrete evidence

against the accused and they were arrested only on the basis of suspicion. The

defence sought to be remanded to judicial custody instead of police custody.

After hearing arguments from both sides, the court remanded the four accused to

police custody till October 26.

According to the police, two of the four accused had

gone to Amritsar to fetch weapons. The two women are alleged to have

transported the weapons to Mumbai via train and delivered them directly to the attackers.

The police are probing the case from the supply of arms to the conspiracy

behind the firing.

The other accused arrested in the case are Rehan

alias Sukka, a resident of Sonipat in Haryana, Ritik Kurmi alias Roshan, a

native of Begusarai in Bihar and residing in Mumbai, and Phool Singh, a

resident of Haryana. The court had on Wednesday remanded them to police custody

till October 31. Police have also arrested another accused, Ankit, from

Vadodara in Gujarat. Mumbai police are likely to bring him to Mumbai for

interrogation.
