GM/NCR interacted with passengers at Subedarganj station
Prayagraj, 22 Oct (HS): ‘Special Campaign 6.0’ is being
conducted across North Central Railway—encompassing all its divisions,
workshops, units, and offices—from October 2, 2026, to October 31, 2026. As
part of this initiative, and under the leadership of General Manager Naresh Pal
Singh, a ‘Rail Jan Samvad’ program was successfully organized at all important
stations of NCR. General Manager himself interacted with passengers at
Subedarganj station on Thursday. During this campaign, meaningful interactions
were held with passengers at the station, and their valuable suggestions and
feedback were gathered to further improve the services of North Central
Railway.
Feedback was primarily sought regarding cleanliness,
catering services, passenger amenities, and toilet facilities etc. On this
occasion, the General Manager visited the coaches of Train No. 20433 (Jammu
Mail) to engage with passengers, hear about their experiences, and listen to
their grievances. The General Manager noted that, as part of the ongoing
cleanliness drive across North Central Railway, suggestions are being
continuously collected from the public and passengers. During his inspection of
various coaches, he interacted with passengers, most of whom expressed
satisfaction with the railway's services. Significant improvements have been
made regarding cleanliness and security over the past few years.
He emphasized that the safety of lady passengers would be
given special priority, ensuring their complete security. While this specific
campaign spans one month, the focus on cleanliness and hygiene is an ongoing,
year-round process. The railway administration remains committed to this
objective, and the General Manager expressed confidence that with the
enthusiastic participation of all employees, Indian Railways will emerge even
cleaner.
In line with this, similar public interaction programs were
also organized at all major stations across North Central Railway. DRM
Prayagraj was present at Prayagraj Jn. station, while DRM Agra at Agra Cantt
and DRM Jhansi at Virangana Lakshmi Bai Jhansi Station and carried out the
Jansamvad Program. Senior officials engaged with passengers to discuss railway
amenities as well as cleanliness, and gathered their feedback.
