Lucknow, 22 Oct (HS): Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister

Keshav Prasad Maurya has specially congratulated Union Home and Cooperation

Minister Amit Shah on his birthday. In a social media post, Maurya compared

Amit Shah's work to that of India's first Home Minister and Iron

Man, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

The Deputy Chief Minister wrote that Sardar Patel, the

architect of the country's unity at the time of independence, was also from the

soil of Gujarat and today, in the Amritkaal of independence, Amit Shah, who

comes from the same land of Gujarat, is carrying forward the same 'iron

resolve' of destroying anti-national forces as the Union Home Minister.

In his message, Keshav Prasad Maurya highlighted the

historic decisions taken by both leaders. He said that while Sardar Vallabhbhai

Patel had laid the foundation of a united India by uniting hundreds of princely

states, today Amit Shah has strengthened the nation's unity and integrity by

abrogating Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir and striking decisive blows

against terrorism and Naxalism. The Deputy Chief Minister stressed that times

have changed, but the resolve to put national interest first and the firm will

against anti-national forces remain as steadfast today.

Extending heartfelt birthday greetings once again to the

Union Home Minister, who is determined to uphold the unity and integrity of the

nation, the Deputy Chief Minister wished him a long life. He prayed that the

infinite blessings of Lord Shri Ram remain upon Amit Shah forever, and that he

may remain dedicated to serving Mother India with excellent health, long life,

and boundless energy.
