Israel lauds RSS’s “Param Vaibhav” vision; Yaniv Revach says he has “no doubt” about the RSS’s vision

Nagpur, 21 October (H.S.): Israel's Consul General for Mid-West India, Yaniv Revach, attended the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's (RSS) Vijayadashami celebration in Nagpur on October 20, marking the organisation's centenary, and expressed confidence in its vision of taking India to 'Param Vaibhav' (supreme glory).

Revach described his participation in the event as a special opportunity and paid floral tributes at the memorials of RSS founder Dr Keshav Baliram Hedgewar and the organisation's second chief, M.S. Golwalkar, at the Smriti Mandir complex in Reshimbagh, Nagpur.

In a statement shared on X, Revach praised the RSS's contribution to India's progress and social unity before and after Independence. He said he had no doubt that India would achieve the goal of 'Param Vaibhav', referring to the ideal expressed in the organisation's traditional prayer.

Revach also referred to the address by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, which emphasised India's cultural identity and its role in promoting global welfare. He connected the organisation's vision with India's freedom struggle and subsequent nation-building efforts.

The Israeli diplomat also recalled the courage of Captain Smit Machhar, whose bravery was mentioned by Bhagwat during his address. Revach described the young pilot as a hero for both India and Israel, highlighting the values of courage and selflessness.

He drew parallels between India and Israel in their emphasis on educating young people about their history, strengthening moral values and preparing future generations for leadership. He also underlined the importance of people-to-people ties alongside strategic cooperation between the two countries.

Revach further referred to challenges facing democratic societies and called for vigilance against forces seeking to divide communities and weaken national identity.
