Chennai, 21 Oct (H.S.): The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has released hall tickets for the Group 2 and Group 2A preliminary examination, scheduled for November 1, as part of the recruitment process to fill 821 vacancies in government departments.

Candidates who applied for the examination can access their hall tickets through the commission’s official website. The release enables applicants to check their allotted examination centres and make arrangements ahead of the test.

The commission issued the recruitment notification on August 11, inviting applications for direct recruitment to posts including Assistant Inspector, Deputy Commercial Tax Officer and Sub-Registrar.

The notification drew applications from lakhs of aspirants across Tamil Nadu’s 38 districts, reflecting the strong interest in government employment and the competitive nature of the recruitment exercise.

The November 1 preliminary examination will mark the first stage of the selection process for candidates seeking appointment under the Group 2 and Group 2A categories.

Applicants should download their hall tickets ahead of the examination and carefully check the particulars printed on them, including their name, registration details, examination venue and reporting instructions.

Candidates should also read the instructions accompanying the hall ticket to understand the requirements for entry into the examination centre and the rules governing the conduct of the test.

With the examination approaching, applicants should plan their travel to the allotted venue and allow sufficient time to complete entry procedures.

Any discrepancy in the hall ticket should be brought to the commission’s attention through its official communication channels.

Candidates should rely on the TNPSC website for examination-related announcements and further instructions. They should continue checking the portal for updates before November 1, particularly information concerning examination arrangements and candidate requirements.

The recruitment exercise covers a range of posts, with the preliminary test serving as the initial screening stage for the advertised vacancies.
