Oct (HS): Police Superintendent Dr Nilabh Rohan guided a special mission and

nabbed two accused in two-wheeler thieves. During two operations police seized

27 motorcycles worth Rs 14,15,000 from them.

An offence under section 303(3) of Bharatiya Nyay

Samhita was registered with Deglur Police Station, following which the search

operation was planned. The accused were frequently shifting from one place to

another to mislead the investigators.

The accused on the arrest and interrogation revealed

that the vehicles were concealed at different places. Police seized 10 vehicles

in the first phase and 17 in the next. They were selling the vehicles telling

that they belong to their relatives.

Police has initiated further investigation into the

case.
