Prayagraj, 20 Oct (HS): Meerut-based social activist Dinesh
Talwar will begin his reverse march from the District Magistrate's office in
Prayagraj at 4 pm on Wednesday, demanding a population control law. A
memorandum will also be submitted to Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the
march.
Dinesh Talwar, along with his wife Disha Talwar, has been leading a public awareness
campaign about the growing population in the country for the past 32 years. The
Talwars have walked in more than 400 cities across the country and sent
thousands of letters to the Prime Minister demanding a population control law.
The couple has also been seeking an appointment with the Prime Minister for the
past 32 years.
Both his children have also been associated with the family in this campaign
for a long time and are helping in spreading the message of population control
across the country. Only Dinesh Talwar will be present in Wednesday's program
in Prayagraj and will raise his demands through reverse march.
