Namo Seva Gatha story of crores of people who have felt change
in their lives: Nandi
Prayagraj, 2 Oct (HS): On Friday, under the Seva Sankalp
Abhiyan, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Father of the Nation
Mahatma Gandhi and former Prime Minister Late Lal Bahadur Shastri, a play based
on 'Namo Seva Gatha Ankahi Kahani' was organized by the Indian Drama Academy's
Sanskrit Department and the Culture Department in the District Panchayat
auditorium. Along with this, an exhibition of records on Mahatma Gandhi and the
national movement was organized by the Regional Archives Culture Department.
During this, Uttar Pradesh Government's Industrial
Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi was present as the chief guest.
Minister Nandi observed the exhibition and watched the play. Minister Nandi
said that the presentation of the play Namo Seva Gatha Ankahi Kahani
(Untold Story) is an attempt to connect us with the journey of the last 25
years, from a worker to becoming the Prime Minister of the country. The story
of India's transformation under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi
is also connected.
Minister Nandi said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi
experienced poverty, challenges, and deprivation since childhood. This is why,
after becoming Prime Minister, he dedicated his life to the well-being of those
at the bottom of society.
He said that to understand this 25-year journey of public
service and public welfare, we must understand the changes that have taken
place in the lives of millions of families across the country. We must visit
the homes of those poor people who have access to a gas stove for the first
time.
We must reach out to the families who received their own
permanent homes. We must reach out to the farmers whose accounts received the
Samman Nidhi amount. We must reach out to the poor families who received free
medical treatment through Ayushman Bharat.
Minister Nandi said that the Prime Minister has tried to
make the lives of the poor and common citizens easier through many schemes like
Jan Dhan Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, Housing Scheme, Ayushman Bharat, Swachh Bharat
Abhiyan, Jal Jeevan Mission and Kisan Samman Nidhi.
Whether it's national security, strengthening the economy,
building a digital India, expanding modern infrastructure, or vowing to make
India self-reliant, India has achieved numerous milestones under the leadership
of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Today, India stands before the world with a new identity.
From digital payments to space, from startups to Make in India, from roads and
railways to welfare of the poor, India's golden journey of holistic development
continues unabated.
Minister Nandi said that this theatrical production of
Namo Seva Gatha Ankahi Kahani shows us that the story of the last
25 years is not just about one person. It is the story of millions of people
who have experienced change in their lives.
It will show the story of the challenges of reconstruction
after the devastating earthquake in Gujarat, historical decisions related to
the security of the country, and India's efforts during the difficult times of
Corona.
