Bhubaneswar, 02 October (H.S.): Odisha Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati and Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi paid tributes to former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri on his birth anniversary, recalling his simplicity, integrity and dedicated service to the nation.

In his message, Governor Kambhampati said that Shastri’s simplicity, integrity and unwavering commitment to the nation continue to inspire generations. He also recalled Shastri’s iconic call of “Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan”, describing it as a timeless tribute to the strength and spirit of India.

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi also paid his respectful tribute to the former Prime Minister. He said Shastri’s simple way of life, commitment to Swadeshi and dedicated leadership would continue to inspire the country to move forward on the path of progress.
