Bhubaneswar, 19 October (H.S.): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has decided to observe this year's Durga Puja in a subdued manner, expressing solidarity with farmers affected by rain-related issues across various parts of the state.

According to a release from the CMO, the Chief Minister will refrain from visiting Durga Puja pandals this year. This decision reflects his solidarity with farmers and his concern over the prevailing situation caused by recent rainfall.

Instead, Majhi will offer prayers to Maa Jagajjanani for the well-being, prosperity, and happiness of the people of Odisha.
