Online pass availability increased; seven advance booking
stages, a same-day facility and verification-based confirmation planned
Ayodhya, 18 Oct (HS): Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra
Trust’s General Secretary, Pujya Swami Govinddev Giri Ji Maharaj, has approved
a series of measures to make Sugam Darshan of Shri Ram Lalla more accessible,
transparent and convenient. The decisions follow detailed deliberations with
CEO Air Mshl Jeetendra Mishra (R), the IT department and Trust representatives.
The General Secretary has directed the CEO to oversee their administrative
implementation.
The availability of online Sugam Darshan passes for the
general public has been increased with immediate effect. The Trust will
continuously review demand, booking patterns and on-ground arrangements to
expand availability as appropriate. The aim is to enable more devotees to
obtain passes directly, without seeking recommendations or depending on
intermediaries.
Advance Booking Window to Expand from 15 to 90 Days: Sugam
Darshan passes are currently available up to 15 days before the visit. Under
the new arrangement, devotees will have the opportunity to obtain passes up to
90 days in advance. The 90-day and 62-day stages are intended to help devotees,
particularly those travelling from distant places, plan their journeys and
arrange rail reservations, accommodation and other travel requirements well
ahead of their visit.
The number of Sugam Darshan passes issued online to the
general public has been increased from 975 to 2,000 and will be increased
further as needed. Passes will be released in seven advance stages, including
90, 62, 30, 14, 7,3 and 1(one) days before the scheduled darshan date. An
eighth stage will provide same-day Tatkal passes. Distributing availability
across these stages will give devotees multiple opportunities to apply,
including those making travel plans at shorter notice, rather than requiring
everyone to book at a single release time.
Advance Passes to Be Confirmed After Technical Verification:
The Trust is developing a verification-based booking system to discourage
misuse of automated booking tools and provide genuine devotees a fair
opportunity to obtain passes.
Advance applications will not receive immediate confirmation:
Following necessary technical verification, applicants will normally be
informed of the decision on pass issuance within 24–48 hours. Submission of an
application will not itself constitute confirmation. The process will help
identify and examine unusual or suspicious booking activity. Same-day Tatkal
passes will be confirmed instantly; the 24–48-hour waiting period will not
apply to them.
Sugam Darshan Passes Are Free; Direct Reporting Facility
Being Introduced: The Trust has reiterated that Sugam Darshan passes are
entirely free of charge. Under the General Secretary’s directions, a dedicated
telephone helpline and email reporting facility are being established. Each
pass is being prominently marked with the following notice and contact details.
FREE PASS: If anyone has asked for or collected a fee for
this pass, please report it. Both reporting channels are expected to become
operational within one week. Complaints received will be promptly examined and
appropriate action taken. Devotees are advised to book Sugam Darshan passes
only through the authorised website: https://online.srjbtkshetra.org
Do not pay anyone for obtaining a pass.
Stronger Security and Phased Implementation: Work has also
begun to strengthen the booking system with updated security measures to help
prevent unauthorised bookings, technical misuse and other irregularities. The
increase in online pass availability has already taken effect. The phased
booking arrangement, verification-based confirmation and other technical
improvements will be introduced progressively after the necessary software
changes and testing. The General Secretary has emphasised that devotee
convenience, transparency and a spirit of service must remain paramount,
enabling every devotee to have darshan of Shri Ram Lalla with dignity and ease
in a welcoming environment.
