Moradabad, 17 Oct (HS): “Teachers have immense power.

India's heritage rests on the strength of their teachers. If anyone has saved

the world, it is teachers. A teacher never asks for anything. A teacher always

gives. A teacher is delighted to see their students progress,” said Deputy

Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Government, Brajesh Pathak, while addressing

the workers' conference in support of Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Dr. Hari

Singh Dhillon in the Legislative Council elections being held for

Bareilly-Moradabad Teacher Block constituency at the Panchayat Bhawan located

in Civil Lines in Moradabad metropolis on Saturday.

The Deputy Chief Minister further stated that the situation

in the country before 2014 and in Uttar Pradesh before 2017 was dire. During

the tenure of the UPA government at the Centre, nothing happened except

corruption and scams. Meanwhile, under the Samajwadi Party government before

2017, crime was rampant throughout Uttar Pradesh. Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh

Pathak stated that when the central government was formed in 2014 under the

leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the government took significant

steps towards empowering the poor, providing employment to the youth,

increasing farmers' income, and establishing India as an economic superpower in

the eyes of the world. Meanwhile, under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath,

Uttar Pradesh is witnessing a wave of development, and the entire state has

become crime-free.
