Lucknow, 17 Oct (HS): On the seventh day of Shardiya

Navratri, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath greeted the country,

asking to Maa Kalaratri to remove negative energies and provide peace and

prosperity. CM Yogi requested that the auspicious form of Maa Kalaratri eliminates

impediments, promotes positive energy, and brings pleasure and peace to

everyone. On the seventh day of Shardiya Navratri, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister

Yogi Adityanath summoned the heavenly form of Goddess Kaalratri to draw a clear

connection between the goddess' legendary victory over the demon Raktabija and

his government's tough crackdown on criminals and mafia networks.

Yogi Adityanath, in a message released on social media site

X, underlined the significant cultural and spiritual meaning of Day 7 of

Navratri:

Eliminating Oppression: The Chief Minister stated that the violent appearance

of Goddess Kaalratri denotes the total annihilation of evil, fear, and

oppression in order to promote justice, peace, and security.

Fear-Free Uttar Pradesh: He linked this heavenly intervention to

Uttar Pradesh's metamorphosis since 2017, claiming that the state has

effectively transitioned from the shadow of terror and disorder cast by

organized criminals and mafia networks to a rule-of-law framework.

During Sharadiya Navratri messages and public appearances,

CM Yogi emphasized that female workforce participation has nearly quadrupled

from 12% to more than 36% since 2017. The Chief Minister attributed the growth

to improvements in peace and order, women's safety, better infrastructure, and

state welfare programs (such as Mukhyamantri Kanya Sumangala Yojana and Mission

Shakti).

In a post on X, he mentioned, “The divine form of Mother

Kaalratri, who annihilates wicked beings, demons, and Tamasic forces like

Raktabija, establishes righteousness, and grants fearlessness to her devotees,

conveys the message that the end of unrighteousness, oppression, and terror is

the very foundation for establishing justice, peace, and a fearless society. Before

the year 2017, the fear and chaos born of terror by mafia elements akin to

Raktabija, rioters, and criminals had cast a dark shadow over the state,

erecting serious obstacles in the path of sisters and daughters' safety,

education, and self-reliance.”

“Over the past 9.5 years, the Double Engine Government's

zero-tolerance policy toward crime and criminals has suppressed these demonic

forces, establishing the rule of law and a fear-free environment in the state. Initiatives

like Mission Shakti, the Integrated 1090 Helpline, Women's Beat Policing, and

the Safe City Project have ensured a secure environment for sisters and

daughters from the threshold of their homes to the streets, educational

institutions, and workplaces. The reduction in police response time from 65

minutes in 2016 to just 5 minutes stands as clear proof of the state's

promptness in maintaining law and order and the government's commitment to

women's safety. Inspired by this very sense of security, women today are

fearlessly working even in night shifts,” he added.

“The rise in women's labor force participation from 12

percent to over 36 percent is proof that the state's feminine power,

transforming into economic strength, is imparting new momentum to Uttar

Pradesh's economic development. The growing participation of feminine power in

diverse sectors including agriculture, industry, services, and entrepreneurship

has infused new energy into the state's journey of development. This very

participation is also making a vital contribution to the threefold growth in

Uttar Pradesh's GSDP and per capita income. Jai Maa Kaalratri,” he remarked.

In another post on X, he stated, “With a single braid, ears

filling the space, completely nude, positioned on a donkey. Long-lipped, with ears like lotus petals, her

body anointed with oil. Adorned with the

playful, dangling bells of her left foot.

Pitch-black, with a banner on her lofty head, Kalaratri, the

terror-striker. At the feet of Mother

Kalaratri, the seventh form of the Primeval Power Mother Durga, who grants

fearlessness to her devotees, a billion-fold prostrations. May the grace of Mother Kalaratri dispel all

obstacles and hindrances, infuse auspiciousness into everyone's life, and

spread the light of happiness, peace, and prosperity. Victory to Mother

Kalaratri.”
