Lucknow, 17 Oct (HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi
Adityanath launched a scathing attack on the Samajwadi Party while addressing
the Teacher-Graduate Voter Conference held in Lucknow. Calling the Samajwadi Party
an enemy of education and youth, the Chief Minister said that Samajwadi
Party and education are like two ends of a river which never meet. He
said that earlier the educational institutions were dominated by professional
goons of SP. No work was done in the direction of education. The previous
government had neither policy nor intention. Nor was there any will to work.
The land on which the mafia set foot was theirs. No one could remove their
occupation. He alleged that the previous governments always created an identity
crisis for the youth and ruined the education system. The previous governments
had neither policy nor intention.
He said sarcastically that if SP says that it wants to do
something for education, then it is just like a crocodile coming to the river
bank and saying, 'Ride on my back, I will take you safely across'.
The Chief Minister said that a Saifai Syndicate
was previously active, encroaching upon the jobs rightfully held by the state's
youth. Recruitment commissions were staffed by incompetent chairman.
During the SP government, there was no trace of anyone who took the exam.
Those who paid money got the appointments. There has been no question
mark in the recruitment process in the last nine years. Previously, jobs were
given to people of a single caste. The Chief Minister said that Amethi,
Rae Bareli, Pratapgarh, and Sultanpur now have medical colleges. These
districts now have good educational institutions. He cautioned workers and
officials that the opposition has conceded defeat, but they should not become
overconfident.
CM Yogi cautioned, Thieves and dacoits break in only
in the dark of night; the opposition will do the same. He added that this
is the right time to respond to those who question constitutional institutions,
as this election is being conducted not through EVMs but through ballot papers.
The Chief Minister said that before 2017, festivals in Uttar Pradesh were not
celebrated with celebrations but with violence. Today, the entire state is
filled with security and peace. Delivering a strong message on the safety of
daughters, he said that today, daughters are completely safe, and if anyone
dares to breach their security, the police have a complete 'remedy' ready at
the next intersection.
Listing the state government's achievements, the Chief
Minister said that improved law and order has led to significant investment in
Uttar Pradesh. This investment has created significant employment opportunities
for the state's youth. The government has so far provided government jobs to
9.5 lakh young people, while over 6.5 lakh have found employment in the private
sector. He said that earlier our youth had to go to other states for
employment, but today there is desolation there, because UP itself has become a
hub of development.
Appeal to vote on 23rd October: The Chief Minister appealed
to all teachers and graduates to participate enthusiastically in the upcoming
polling day on 23rd October. He stressed that on this day voters must reach
their polling booths to exercise their democratic rights and cast their vote in
favour of justice and good governance. I would appeal to teachers and youth to
first vote on October 23 and then go anywhere.
On this occasion, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh
Khanna, BJP Regional President Awadhesh Dwivedi, Graduate MLC candidate Avneesh
Singh Patel, Teacher MLC candidate Umesh Dwivedi, BJP Regional Vice President
Reshu Bhatia were prominently present.
