Varanasi, 17 Oct (HS): The Suryakiran Aerobatic Team (SKAT)
of the Indian Air Force will showcase its spectacular nine-aircraft aerobatic
display at Namo Ghat, Varanasi, as part of the Indian Air Force Display 2026,
commemorating the 94th anniversary of the Indian Air Force. The event will
provide an opportunity for the people of Varanasi to witness the precision,
discipline and professionalism that define the Service, while celebrating its
proud legacy of service to the nation.
Flying nine Hawk Mk 132 aircraft, manufactured under licence

iconic DNA manoeuvre will demonstrate exceptional coordination, control and
synchronisation. With nine aircraft moving as one cohesive formation,
complemented by vibrant saffron, white and green smoke trails, the display will
bring colour and spectacle to the skies over Varanasi.
The Indian Air Force, established on 8 October 1932,
completes 94 years of distinguished service in 2026. Over the decades, it has
evolved into a modern aerospace power, upholding the highest standards of
operational readiness, technological advancement and professional excellence.
