Prayagraj, 17 Oct (HS): The Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, which

started on September 17 on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's

birthday, emerged as a unique example of service, culture, spirituality and

social participation in Prayagraj. On the initiative of Uttar Pradesh

Government's Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta 'Nandi', a

special screening of the spiritual film 'Hanuman Ansh', based on the life of

Baba Neeb Karori, was organised continuously for a month at the PVR cinema hall

in Civil Lines. More than 1.80 lakh people watched the film in this special

screening which ran from September 17 to October 17. The event concluded with

great pomp on Saturday.

The highlight of this event wasn't just the large audience,

but also the effort to connect a wider audience with spiritual cinema, foster

community participation, and bring modern entertainment experiences to families

for whom a family movie-watching experience at a PVR was once a dream. Families

also had the opportunity to enjoy popcorn, burgers, and cold drinks alongside

the film screenings. This initiative served as a fusion of religious faith,

family joy, and social connection.

An opportunity to connect with the life of Baba Neeb Karori

and Hanuman devotion: The purpose of screening the film Hanuman

Ansh, based on the life and spiritual tradition of Baba Neeb Karori

Maharaj, was to connect people with Hanuman devotion, spiritual consciousness,

and Indian cultural traditions. During the month-long screening, dedicated BJP

officials, workers, booth and sector officials, Panna Pramukhs, and people from

the Prayagraj City South Assembly constituency had the opportunity to view the film.

This initiative brought together political organization

activists and local citizens through a shared cultural activity. Thousands of

families watched the film together. The event's format emphasized family

participation along with religious devotion.

Baba Neeb Karori Maharaj's spiritual legacy and his

unwavering devotion to Lord Hanuman hold a special place among devotees both

domestically and internationally. Therefore, the film's attempt to connect

people with spiritual themes through his life can be seen as a medium of

cultural expression.

Emphasis on public participation in Seva Sankalp Abhiyan: Minister

Nandi linked this special screening to the spirit of public outreach and

service, organized as part of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, which launched on

September 17th, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday. The campaign sought to

bring together the people of the constituency, party workers, and their

families.

Uttar Pradesh Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal

Gupta Nandi said that the constituency, party workers, and the people of the

region are his family. The joys and sorrows of each family and its members are

his own. This statement underscores the spirit behind the event, which portrays

the relationship between public representatives and the public as a family

bond, not limited to the administrative or political sphere.

Public service programs typically feature health camps, aid

distribution, public welfare activities, and social awareness campaigns. This

event attempted to integrate the concept of service with the group screening of

a spiritual film and family entertainment. It also highlighted various forms of

service, including providing cultural experiences and creating opportunities

for collective joy.

Deepened the feeling of faith and spirituality: Abhilasha

Gupta Nandi - Prayagraj's former mayor Abhilasha Gupta Nandi welcomed and

greeted the people who came to watch the film Hanuman Ansh under the Seva

Abhiyan every day from 17th September to 17th October. The former mayor was

continuously engaged in making arrangements while keeping in mind the

convenience and inconvenience of the people coming to watch the film. The

former mayor said that the special screening of the film Hanuman Ansh, which

continued for a month, has deepened the feeling of devotion and spirituality in

the Sangam city Prayagraj. It has bound Prayagraj in a thread of devotional joy

and spiritual energy.

The crowd remained constant from the beginning to the end: On

the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday on September 17, the

special screening of the film Hanuman Ansh was started. From that day onwards,

there was a continuous crowd of people to watch the film every day till October

17. With full devotion, faith and belief, the elderly, the youth as well as

children watched the film Hanuman Ansh. The most special thing during the

screening of this film was that in every show of every Audi, every day, more

people watched the film than the allotted seats. When seats were not available,

people sat on the stairs of the hall and on the ground and watched this

spiritual film based on the life of Baba Neeb Karori.

Film screenings at PVR for a month became the main

attraction of the event: A special screening of Hanuman Ansh at the

PVR in Civil Lines for a month was a major highlight of the event. According to

the organizers, over 180,000 people watched the film during this period. The

large turnout made the event a topic of widespread discussion.

The experience of watching a movie at a modern multiplex

like PVR holds a special appeal for many families. For families who might not

normally be able to attend a cinema together, watching a movie and enjoying the

food available there, this event provided a memorable experience. Through

special screenings, these families also had the opportunity for group

entertainment.

The initiative also had a social aspect, as film-watching

was not limited to individual entertainment, but rather saw collective

participation by families. While viewership itself is an indication of the

event's widespread impact, understanding audience reactions and experiences

will also be crucial to assessing its long-term cultural and social impact.

Calling it a special achievement in PVR's history, the

organizers said the film was screened continuously for a month and attracted

nearly two million viewers. According to available data, the number of visitors

between September 17 and October 17 exceeded 180,000.

Minister Nandi emphasizes on cultural heritage and spiritual

consciousness: Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi said that under the

leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath,

the cultural and spiritual heritage of the country and the state has been

strengthened. According to him, the film Hanuman Ansh attempts to

carry forward this tradition. He linked the success of the film to the broader

scenario of nationalism and growing interest in Sanatan Dharma and called it a

sign of strengthening cultural consciousness.

At the end, there was the celebration of Dandiya-Garba along

with the worship of Mother Bhagwati: The month-long film screenings concluded

with more than a formal ceremony. A grand Dandiya and Garba event was organized

at the PVR campus, along with a worship service to Goddess Bhagwati, the

embodiment of Shakti. A large number of BJP officials and workers, along with

their families, participated and enjoyed the festivities.

Traditional folk dances like Dandiya and Garba are important

forms of Shakti worship, collective celebration, and cultural participation

during Navratri. Combining the film screening's finale with these cultural

activities added a spiritual and celebratory element to the event. On one hand,

the film provided an opportunity to connect with the life of Baba Neeb Karori

Maharaj and his devotion to Hanuman, while on the other, the cultural aspects

of Navratri were witnessed through the worship of Goddess Bhagwati and

traditional dance. The closing ceremony thus brought the event to a complete

state of religious faith, family reunion, and collective celebration.

This initiative by Minister Nandi gave a distinct dimension

to the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan. The month-long program, and the concluding Dandiya

Garba, also demonstrated that combining outreach programs with

religious-cultural activities and family involvement can create opportunities for

widespread participation. Overall, the special screening of Hanuman

Ansh in Prayagraj marked a month-long event that sought to combine

Hanuman devotion, the spiritual legacy of Baba Neeb Karori Maharaj, family

entertainment, and cultural celebration. The attendance of over 180,000 viewers

and the grand finale made it one of the key activities of the Seva Sankalp

Abhiyan.
