Mumbai, 15 October (H.S.): Bollywood actors Salman Khan and Karisma Kapoor revisited several memorable anecdotes from their film careers during the opening episode of the ninth season of ‘Koffee with Karan’. Among the stories they shared was an incident from the sets of their 2000 film ‘Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge’, when Salman reportedly expressed displeasure over Karisma’s outfit and asked her to change it.

According to Karisma, she was enthusiastic about experimenting with her appearance and fashion choices for the film, but Salman disapproved of a particular outfit she wore. The actress recalled that the two would frequently engage in playful disagreements over the matter.

When host Karan Johar asked whether Salman had been uncomfortable with her clothes being too tight, Karisma explained that the outfit was quite revealing and closely fitted to her body. Salman added that her short skirt tended to ride up while she was dancing and that the fabric was extremely thin and transparent, which made him uncomfortable.

### Karisma Recalls Her First Meeting with Salman

During the conversation, Karisma also recalled her first meeting with Salman and revealed that she had been a great admirer of the actor. She said Salman had encouraged her by praising her work and had even given her chocolates during their initial interaction.

That encounter marked the beginning of their friendship. The two subsequently shared the screen in several films, including ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ and ‘Biwi No. 1’, establishing themselves as a popular on-screen pairing in Hindi cinema.
