(HS): Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) employees union has

threatened to launch stat-wide strike from November 6. The strike would badly

affect the poor travellers, particularly from rural areas during the coming

festival season.

The State

Transport employees are launching the strike in support of their pending

demands, including timely release of their monthly salary on 7th of

every month; Dearness Allowance (DA) equivalent to state government employees

(60%), and bonus of 15,000 before Diwali.
