New Delhi, 13 October (H.S.):

President Droupadi Murmu will visit Andhra Pradesh on October 14 and 15, during which she will attend the National SARAS Mela in Vijayawada on October 15.

According to information released by the President’s Office on Tuesday, the National SARAS Mela is being organised jointly by the Union Ministry of Rural Development and the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

The event aims to provide a platform for women entrepreneurs associated with self-help groups to showcase their traditional handicrafts, handloom products and regional specialities, while promoting rural livelihoods and supporting women-led enterprises.
