Bhubaneswar, 13 October (H.S.): Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and several senior ministers of the Odisha government called on Governor Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati on Tuesday to convey their farewell wishes and acknowledge his service to the state.

Singh Deo, who also holds the Agriculture portfolio, met the Governor and expressed his appreciation for his valuable service to Odisha. In a post on social media platform X, the Deputy Chief Minister said Kambhampati’s tenure had been marked by an unwavering commitment to constitutional values and the welfare of the people.

He extended his heartfelt wishes to the Governor for good health and continued fulfilment in public life, while invoking the blessings of Mahaprabhu Shri Jagannath.

“I extend my sincere appreciation to Hon’ble Governor of Odisha, Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati Ji, for his valuable service to our state. His tenure has been marked by an unwavering commitment to constitutional values and the welfare of the people of Odisha,” Singh Deo wrote.

He also wished the Governor good health and a fulfilling future in public life.

Meanwhile, Health and Family Welfare, Parliamentary Affairs, and Electronics and Information Technology Minister Mukesh Mahaling met Kambhampati at Raj Bhavan and conveyed his farewell wishes.

Law, Works and Excise Minister Prithviraj Harichandan also called on the Governor to extend his greetings.

The meetings came as senior leaders of the state government gathered to acknowledge Kambhampati’s tenure and convey their best wishes for his future endeavours.
