Prayagraj, 13 Oct (HS): Opposition leaders are distraught over

lack of power. If Rahul Gandhi wants to fight democratically, he should appear

before the people. Attempting to drag the country's Supreme Court into a

political movement is inexcusable. Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav

Prasad Maurya made these remarks while speaking to reporters at the Circuit

House on Tuesday. He claimed that the BJP will again form the government with a

landslide majority in the 2027 assembly elections. Whether opposition parties,

including the Samajwadi Party, Bahujan Samaj Party, and Congress, contest the

elections together or separately, the BJP is certain to win in Uttar Pradesh.

Taking aim at the protests by the Congress and Samajwadi

Party, Keshav Prasad Maurya said that the opposition lacks any concrete public

interest issues. Their protests are not garnering public support. He alleged

that the opposition's objective is not to address public issues, but to somehow

remove Prime Minister Narendra Modi from office and install Rahul Gandhi as

Prime Minister. He said that the people of the country and the state will not

accept this opposition politics.

It is wrong to drag the Supreme Court into the agitation: The

Deputy Chief Minister strongly objected to Rahul Gandhi's move to the Supreme

Court against the Election Commission. He said that in a democracy, everyone

has the right to protest and express their views, but attempting to make

constitutional institutions part of a political movement is not appropriate.

Rahul Gandhi should present his views to the public. He condemned this move and

said that the public will respond to such political attitudes in due course.

Claims that BJP will form government again in 2027: The

Deputy Chief Minister stated that the Prime Minister's post is not a family

fiefdom, nor is the post of Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh reserved for any

one family. Taking aim at the Gandhi family and the Saifai family, he said that

the people of the country and the state choose the government through their

right to vote. The people have given the BJP a mandate, and the party is

working for public service.

He said that the public repeatedly blesses a government that

serves the people and maintains strong law and order. On this basis, he

expressed confidence that the BJP will form a third government in Uttar Pradesh

in 2027. He also claimed that the BJP will form a government in Punjab and

return to power in Uttarakhand and Goa.

Confident of winning all 11 Teacher MLC seats: Referring to

the Teachers' and Graduates' Legislative Council elections in Uttar Pradesh,

Keshav Prasad Maurya said that the BJP is striving to ensure the victory of its

authorized candidates on all 11 seats. He targeted the Samajwadi Party,

alleging that it has ties to the mining, land, and teacher mafia. He said that

the BJP organization is busy preparing for the elections and the party is

receiving public support.

Present at the press conference were Kashi region vice

president and co-ordinator of Allahabad-Jhansi graduate elections Awadhesh

Chandra Gupta, Metropolitan president Sanjay Gupta, Gangapar president Nirmala

Paswan, Yamunapar president Rajesh Shukla, MLC Baburam Tiwari, MLA Piyush

Ranjan Nishad, state spokesperson Ashish Gupta, Vijay Dwivedi, Kush Srivastava,

Shailesh Patel, Vikramjeet Bhadoria, Anuj Kushwaha, Anand Sonkar, Vivek Mishra,

Pawan Srivastava, Umesh Tiwari and Dilip Chaturvedi, among others.
