Kolkata, 13 October (H.S.) : Senior BJP leader Dilip Ghosh has strongly retaliated against CPI(M) leader Bikash Ranjan Bhattacharya's recent remarks concerning the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Responding to Bhattacharya's allegations that the RSS is raising an army of thugs, Ghosh questioned the CPI(M)'s own political track record. He asserted that the world is well aware of the RSS's activities, just as the public is fully aware of what the CPI(M) does, taking a sharp dig at the Left party's current political standing.
Why didn't they stop the RSS? Did they try? Were they able to stop it? The entire world knows what the RSS does, and people also know exactly what the CPI(M) does. That is precisely why the CPI(M) has been wiped out. Therefore, we do not need his certificate, Ghosh stated.
Bhattacharya's comments regarding the role of the RSS have sparked a fresh controversy in political circles. While the CPI(M) leader criticized the ideological activities of the RSS, Ghosh's sharp retort highlighting the Left's diminishing political relevance has triggered a fresh political slugfest between the two camps. This ideological clash between the two leaders has once again brought the debate over the RSS's role to the forefront of state politics.
