New Delhi, 12 October (H.S.): The Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) has announced Skechers as its official apparel sponsor and Uflex as its official partner for the 2026–27 domestic cricket season.
Under the agreement, Skechers will provide apparel to Delhi’s men’s and women’s cricket teams across various age groups. These teams represent Delhi in domestic tournaments organised by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
According to the DDCA, the association previously incurred expenditure of approximately Rs 50 lakh on match jerseys and training kits for its men’s and women’s teams during earlier seasons. Skechers’ sponsorship is expected to help offset these expenses while ensuring that players receive quality apparel for the upcoming season.
The DDCA also announced that Uflex has joined the association as an official partner for the 2026–27 season. Under the terms of the agreement, the company’s logo will feature on the teams’ kits. The two partnerships are expected to help the association recover its apparel-related expenditure while generating additional sponsorship revenue.
The initiative is being viewed as an important step towards broadening Delhi cricket’s commercial partnerships, making more effective use of available resources and providing better support and facilities to players representing the capital in domestic cricket.
DDCA President Rohan Jaitley said, “We are delighted to welcome Skechers and Uflex as partners for the 2026–27 season. Building strategic partnerships with globally recognised brands and leading industry groups is an important step towards our vision of developing a strong and sustainable cricket ecosystem in Delhi.
“These partnerships will enhance the professional standards of our domestic cricket structure while reflecting the brand value of Delhi cricket. Our priority is to continuously improve governance and provide high-quality institutional support to both our men’s and women’s teams.”
A Skechers spokesperson said that partnering with a prominent sporting institution such as the DDCA marked an important strategic milestone for the company. The spokesperson noted that Delhi had a rich cricketing history and that the association offered Skechers an opportunity to connect directly with one of India’s leading domestic cricket systems.
Ashok Chaturvedi, Chairman and Managing Director of the Uflex Group, said the company was proud to associate with the DDCA for the 2026–27 domestic season. He expressed confidence that the partnership would strengthen Uflex’s presence in Indian sports and prove mutually beneficial to both organisations.
