Lucknow, 12 Oct (HS): Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister

of Uttar Pradesh, conveyed greetings on the second day of Sharadiya Navratri

2026, which is dedicated to Maa Brahmacharini. Yogi Adityanath expressed his

tribute to Maa Brahmacharini, the second form of Goddess Durga who embodies

penance, sacrifice, and self-control, in a statement published on social media

and public forums. He prayed that the grace of Mother Goddess would bring

patience, virtue, and good behavior into everyone's life. The Chief Minister

stated that Uttar Pradesh has changed into a symbol of security and women's

empowerment since 2017 as a result of a zero-tolerance approach against crime,

intense monitoring, and rapid police response.

In a post on X, he mentiomed, “Holding the rosary and the

water pot in her lotus-like hands, May the supreme Goddess Brahmacharini be

pleased with me. On the sacred occasion of Shardiya Navratri, millions of

salutations to Mother Brahmacharini, the second form of the world-mother Maa

Bhagwati. May the grace of Mother, the

presiding deity of penance, sacrifice, and restraint, infuse patience and

virtue into everyone's life—this is the prayer. Jai Maa Brahmacharini.”
