Prayagraj, 12 Oct (HS): Dr Mumtaz Alam Rizvi (National

Convenor), Bharatiya Muslim Manch addressed a press conference on Monday and

said, “Samajwadi Party and Congress are worried due to the support given by

Bharatiya Muslim Manch to BSP, while on the other hand, the BJP, which plays

Hindu-Muslim politics, is nervous. You know that the assembly elections to be

held in Uttar Pradesh, the largest state of the country, in 2027, are very

important. This state, with a population of approximately 25 crore, has a total

of 403 assembly seats. The party which gets 202 seats forms the government. But

the question is not about forming the government, but about running the

government.

The state has been under a BJP government since 2017. Before

that, the Samajwadi Party was in power from 2012 to 2017. You've seen both

governments. Under the BJP government, there's only the noise and force of

bullets and bulldozers. Bulldozers are being used to illegally raze the homes

of Dalits and Muslims. Similarly, fake encounters are being staged,

disregarding the Constitution and the courts. The BJP government promised to

provide homes, but on the contrary, they are destroying homes. Law and order is

non-existent. The NCRB report hasn't been presented since 2024 because it would

have exposed the government. Today, bribery is rampant. The honor of sisters

and daughters is at stake. Murders are happening in broad daylight. Some things

are revealed through the media and social media, but otherwise, they are

suppressed.

Similarly, during the Samajwadi Party's Akhilesh Yadav

government, only riots occurred. The Muslims of Uttar Pradesh had worked with

great enthusiasm to form Mullah Mulayam Singh Yadav's government, but Akhilesh

Yadav, who had no experience, was made the Chief Minister. Four and a half

Chief Ministers ran the state, and the result is clear: riots were breaking out

everywhere, and the aspirations of Muslims were shattered. On one hand, poor

Muslims were sheltering in tents in Muzaffarnagar, while on the other hand, the

beloved leaders of his government were busy watching dances in Saifai. From

Akhlaq Ahmed to Ziaul Haq, people were murdered, but the government remained

happy. Can any leader of the Samajwadi Party, which considers Muslims its vote

bank, list even five things the Akhilesh government has done? The state's

Muslims vote for the Samajwadi Party, and the Samajwadi Party sends Dhanraj

Nathwani, a relative of Ambani and son of a BJP-supported MP, to the Rajya

Sabha?

Before these two governments, from 2007 to 2012, the BSP had

a full majority government, with the respected Mayawati as Chief Minister.

There were no bullets, no bulldozers, no riots, no violence. All the mafia and

thugs were inside jail without any discrimination. The administration worked

with complete honesty, and the government was feared. Such law and order was

remembered by the people of Uttar Pradesh today. I will only mention the work

done for Muslims during Mayawati's government. Eighteen departments were

assigned to Muslim ministers. Protection was provided from rioters. Primary

schools were opened in Muslim-majority areas, the Uttar Pradesh Minority

Commission was established, and an Urdu, Arabic, and Persian University was

established. The Minority Finance Corporation was established. A Haj House was

established. 350 madrasas were added. The Central Waqf Board of Uttar Pradesh

was merged with the Central Waqf Council. Work was done to provide scholarships

to Muslim girls. Behenji (Mayawati) has done 100 such works in her government,

copies of which are being given to you.

I don't know what misguided the Muslims of Uttar Pradesh

into helping the Samajwadi Party, which had recruited Babri Masjid convict

Kalyan Singh, win in 2012. They welcomed Sakshi Maharaj into their party and

sent him to the Rajya Sabha, yet Muslims remained content and formed the

Samajwadi Party government. I've already explained the outcome above.

Now the Muslims of Uttar Pradesh have understood, they have

awakened. They are not going to be misled by any kind of trickery. This time in

2027 they are going to form Behenji's government. Muslims voted overwhelmingly

for the Samajwadi Party in the 2017 and 2022 elections, but the Samajwadi Party

could not defeat the BJP, hence this time they are going to vote for Behenji

because Muslims have understood that only the Bahujan Samaj Party can defeat

the BJP. The Bharatiya Muslim Manch (BSP supporter) is taking an oath today

with its hand on the Quran that it will work with all its heart, mind and money

to make respected Behen Kumari Mayawati the Chief Minister for the fifth time.
