Mumbai, 12 Oct (HS): Shivaji Nagar Police have registered

an offence against Aditya Thackeray of UBT and Amit Thackeray pf Maharashtra

Navnirman Sena along with 300 others for

staging agitation in support of CJP’s demand of resignation of CEC Gyanesh

Kumar without permission. The offence under law pertaining to unlawful assembly

was registered by the police.

Aditya and Amit Thackeray, Yashvant Killedar, Nitin Sardesai

and Sandip Deshpande and others were detained by the police on Sunday and later

released.

Meanwhile, MNS started a signature campaign in

support of the demand of Gyanesh Kumar’s resignation. MNS has also threatened

to stage agitation at Shivaji Mark with its demands. Police has beefed security

in the region.
