Guwahati, 11 October (HS): EZE Perfumes, an Indian fragrance brand established in 2023, has opened a new kiosk at City Centre Mall on GS Road in Guwahati. Actress Nishita Goswami and Royal Global University Chancellor Dr AK Pansari inaugurated the outlet on Sunday, marking the brand's entry into the hometown of its founder, Kanishka Jain.
The new kiosk aims to introduce customers in Guwahati and the wider Northeast to premium fragrances developed in India using in-house perfumery expertise and ingredients sourced globally.
For Kanishka Jain, who was born and brought up in Guwahati before moving to Mumbai after marriage, the launch represents a significant personal and professional milestone. She said the city would always hold a special place in her heart and expressed happiness at bringing the brand to the place where she spent her early years.
Jain said EZE was established with the vision of making distinctive fragrances accessible to a wider audience. She added that the brand aims to promote Indian perfumery internationally while offering products suitable for everyday use and special occasions.
The company draws on the experience of Sawai Fragrances, which has a legacy of more than 60 years in the perfumery industry. Pushkar Jain, Managing Director of Sawai Fragrances, contributes his expertise to the development of EZE's fragrances, combining carefully sourced ingredients with in-house craftsmanship.
Since its establishment in 2023, EZE Perfumes has focused on offering premium fragrances at accessible prices. Its collection caters to different preferences and occasions, ranging from everyday wear to gifting and celebrations. The brand believes fragrances can add confidence, joy and a personal touch to daily life.
The Guwahati outlet is part of EZE's broader expansion strategy to strengthen its presence in Northeast India. The brand also aims to build an Indian fragrance label with international appeal.
At the kiosk, customers can explore a variety of fragrance profiles, including floral, citrus and woody compositions. Visitors will have the opportunity to try the fragrances on their skin, understand how the scents develop and select products according to their individual preferences.
The outlet provides a dedicated retail space where customers can experience the collection before making a purchase, whether they are choosing their first EZE fragrance, returning for a favourite scent or looking for a gift.
EZE Perfumes combines in-house fragrance development with globally sourced ingredients, drawing on Sawai Fragrances' long-standing industry experience. Its stated vision is to bring distinctive fragrance experiences to a wider audience and take Indian perfumery to the global market.------------
