
Bhubaneswar, 11 October (H.S.): The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has suspended three party leaders from Balasore district for their alleged involvement in anti-party activities during the 2026 college elections.
Those suspended are Dhiren Kumar Nayak, a member of the Biju Yuva Janata Dal (BYJD), Balasore; Bibhudutta Parida, a member of the Biju Chhatra Janata Dal (BCJD), Balasore; and Manas Das Pattnaik, former coordinator of the BJD in Balasore.
According to an official order issued by the party, the three have been suspended from the BJD with immediate effect for their alleged involvement in activities against the party during the college elections.
