Adityanath has made substantial advancements in women's empowerment throughout

the state via focused security, financial inclusion, and entrepreneurial

programs. Over 50% of startups in Uttar Pradesh are founded or co-founded by

women, boasting more than 9,600 active women-led startups in technology,

agritech, and healthcare industries. The involvement of women in the labor

force has risen from 12% to more than 36%, aided by safer conditions that

enable them to work night shifts.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath mentioned that the double-engine government adheres to the

principle of Where women are respected,

deities dwell, propelling the vision of Empowered Women - Prosperous Uttar

Pradesh towards a

Developed Uttar Pradesh.

Meanwhile, in a post on X, he mentiomed, “Under the

successful guidance of the Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji, the

state's double engine government has transformed Uttar Pradesh from a state of

unrest to a state of celebration, while also providing a new direction to

women's safety, respect, and self-reliance. Before 2017, crossing the threshold

of the home was a challenge for many daughters; today, those same daughters are

working night shifts and giving new momentum to the state's economy. Today,

women's power is leading more than 50% of the startups in the state. The female

labor force participation rate rising from 12% to over 36% is clear evidence of

the growing confidence and expanding opportunities for women in the state. From

the health of maternal power to the bright future of daughters, the welfare

schemes of the double engine government are continuously providing new strength

to women's empowerment every day.”

Campaign have bolstered the health and nutrition of mothers and infants. The

Mukhyamantri Kanya Sumangala and Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana are providing

financial security for the future of daughters, while initiatives like Mission

Shakti, Operation Kayakalp, Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, Safe City, Rani

Laxmibai Scooty Yojana, and Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar Working Women Hostel are

opening new paths for their education, safety, mobility, and self-reliance. Embracing

the spirit of ‘Where women are revered, there reside the deities,’ the state's

double engine government is steadily advancing toward realizing the resolve of

‘Developed India-Developed Uttar Pradesh’ through ‘Empowered Women-Prosperous

Uttar Pradesh,” he added prior to signing off.
