
Balrampur, 10 Oct (HS): Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath
arrived at the famous Shaktipeeth Devipatan Temple in Balrampur district of
Uttar Pradesh on Saturday for a two-day visit. He will stay overnight and worship
Goddess Pateshwari on Sunday, the first day of Sharadiya Navratri.
Upon arriving at the helipad on the Adishakti Maa Pateshwari
Public School campus, operated by the Devipatan Temple, the Chief Minister was
welcomed by Mahant Mithilesh Nath Yogi Maharaj, the head priest of Devipatan,
and officials. The Chief Minister's convoy then proceeded to the Devipatan
Temple by car.
According to the scheduled program, on Sunday morning, the
Chief Minister will perform a ritualistic worship of Goddess Shailputri.
Following the worship, he will perform cow service at the temple's cowshed.
During this, he will feed the cattle green fodder and jaggery. He will then
participate in the Girl Child Honors program organized on the temple premises.
Following the program, the Chief Minister will depart the temple at 10 am.
In view of the Chief Minister's arrival and the Navratri
fair, strict security arrangements have been made in the Devipatan temple
complex and surrounding areas. Police personnel have been deployed at the
temple entrances and major roads. The administration has ensured security,
cleanliness, and other necessary arrangements.
