
Kanpur, 10 Oct (HS): The trust expressed by the top
leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will be fulfilled by
strengthening the organization and respecting its workers. Workers are the
BJP's greatest strength, and with their support, we will work to strengthen the
organization. Prakash Pal, state president of the BJP Backward Front, Uttar
Pradesh, spoke to reporters upon arriving in Kanpur on Saturday after being
elected unopposed to the Rajya Sabha in the 2026 Rajya Sabha elections.
Upon reaching the city, Prakash Pal prayed at the temple
near his residence and wished for everyone's happiness and prosperity. He then
visited the Hanuman Temple in Panki and paid obeisance to Bajrangbali. Mahant
Krishna Das of the Panki Temple also welcomed him.
Hundreds of party workers streamed into his residence
throughout the day. Workers from various districts across the state, including
Kanpur, expressed their joy at his unanimous election. Expressing gratitude to
everyone, Prakash Pal said he would fulfill the responsibility entrusted to him
by the party with complete dedication.
He said that under the guidance of the central and state
leadership, the organization will be strengthened in collaboration with the
workers. Continuous work will be done to disseminate the BJP's policies and
public welfare programs to the people. Since his arrival in Kanpur, a stream of
people has been pouring in to congratulate him at his residence.
