Amravati, 10 Oct (HS): Alliance Air has cancelled Mumbai-Amravati-Mumbai flight of October 11,
quoting Operational Reasons. The announcement was made by the Maharashtra
Airports Development Company (MADC) Vice-President and Managing Director Deepak
Kapoor on Saturday. The cancellation of the flight has posed serious problems
for the travellers who had already booked their tickets.
The Alliance Air had
announced five-day service in a week from October 4, which vanished in thin air
in the first week itself. The travellers received the message from MADC and are
making efforts to make alternative arrangements.
Amravati-Mumbai air
service also remained closed between December 1 and 15 due to dense fog, Later
it was started with the twice in a week frequency. Four-days in a week was
started on January 2, but frequent cancellation of the flight resulted in
travellers losing faith in Alliance Air.
