Goalpara (Assam), 10 October (HS): Police have arrested 12 Bangladeshi nationals, including children, in Assam’s Goalpara district. The individuals were apprehended near the Assam State Transport Corporation (ASTC) bus station in Goalpara.

According to preliminary information, the arrests were made in the vicinity of the ASTC bus stand. The presence of children among those arrested has also been reported.

Further details regarding the identities of the arrested individuals, the circumstances under which they entered India, and the action being taken by the authorities are awaited.----------
