Kokrajhar (Assam), 01 October (HS): The Kokrajhar district administration will organise special camps under the ‘Seva Setu Abhiyan’ at five locations across the district from October 8 to 10. Being held under the theme ‘Government at Your Doorstep’, the initiative aims to bring various government welfare schemes and citizen-centric services closer to residents.

The camps will facilitate applications for government schemes, provide information on pending applications and services, assist eligible beneficiaries in accessing welfare programmes and help address public grievances at the camp venues.

On October 8, camps will be held at the Indoor Stadium in Dotma and the Shaheed Sujit Narzary Memorial Hall in Kachugaon under the No. 4 Baokhungri Assembly constituency.

On October 9, camps will be organised at the Iragdao Community Bhawan in Titaguri under the No. 3 Kokrajhar Assembly constituency and at the Habrubil Community Bhawan under the No. 1 Gossaigaon Assembly constituency. On October 10, a camp will be held at the Bishnu Rava Bhawan in Debitola under the No. 5 Parbatjhora Assembly constituency. All camps will begin at 10 am.

Services related to Orunodoi, PM-KISAN Samman Nidhi, Kisan Credit Card (KCC), Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY, ration cards and food security schemes, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin, birth and death certificates, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, e-Shram and labour welfare schemes, Har Ghar Jal under the Jal Jeevan Mission, PM Surya Ghar and other welfare programmes will be available at the camps.

Officials and staff from various departments will remain present to provide information on government schemes, assist people with applications, facilitate access to benefits for eligible beneficiaries and help resolve grievances.

The district administration has appealed to residents to visit the nearest Seva Setu Abhiyan camp and avail themselves of the government services and welfare schemes being offered.-----------
