With the beginning of October, the recent decline in gold prices in the domestic bullion market has come to a halt. During early trading on the first day of the month, gold prices were seen trending higher. Following the latest movement in prices, gold has become costlier by Rs 720 to Rs 790 per 10 grams in most bullion markets across the country. However, silver prices remained unchanged for the second consecutive day.
Following the increase, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,49,580 to Rs 1,49,730 per 10 grams in most bullion markets across the country. Similarly, 22-carat gold was selling in the range of Rs 1,37,110 to Rs 1,37,260 per 10 grams. With no change in silver prices, the precious metal continued to trade at Rs 2,39,900 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.
In Delhi, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,49,730 per 10 grams, while the price of 22-carat gold stood at Rs 1,37,260 per 10 grams. In the country’s financial capital Mumbai, 24-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,49,580 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,37,110 per 10 grams. Similarly, the retail price of 24-carat gold in Ahmedabad stood at Rs 1,49,630 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,37,160 per 10 grams.
Apart from these major cities, 24-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,49,580 per 10 grams in Chennai, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,37,110 per 10 grams. Similarly, in Kolkata, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,49,580 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,37,110 per 10 grams. In Bhopal, the price of 24-carat gold stood at Rs 1,49,630 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,37,160 per 10 grams.
In Jaipur, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,49,730 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,37,260 per 10 grams. In Patna, the price of 24-carat gold stood at Rs 1,49,630 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,37,160 per 10 grams. In the Lucknow bullion market, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,49,730 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,37,260 per 10 grams.
Like bullion markets in other states, gold prices also continued to trend higher in the markets of Karnataka, Telangana and Odisha. In the capitals of these three states—Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar—24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,49,580 per 10 grams. Similarly, 22-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,37,110 per 10 grams in the bullion markets of all three cities.
