Mumbai, 01 October (H.S.): The upcoming Star Plus show ‘India’s Top 1% – The Anil Kapoor Show’ will feature an engaging conversation on marriage, relationships and the choice of staying single. During the show, Sumeet Melwani from Pune revealed that he has been in a relationship for the past 35 years, but he and his partner have chosen not to marry. Meanwhile, Rochak Saxena from Baroda said that he is happy being single and enjoys his independence and the time he gets for himself. He said he does not want to get married merely to fulfil his family’s wishes.

After listening to the contestants, Anil Kapoor spoke about his married life with his wife, Sunita Kapoor. He said, “I cannot say that I made a mistake, or that it was the best decision of my life. But I feel that getting married was one of the best decisions of my life.”

During the conversation, Shubham Balande from Gujarat revealed that if he wins Rs 1 crore, he would like to marry his wife all over again in a grand ceremony and take her on a second honeymoon. Shubham’s statement prompted Anil Kapoor to reminisce about his own early days of marriage.

Anil revealed that after their wedding, Sunita had gone on her honeymoon alone because he was busy shooting at the time. Reacting humorously to Shubham’s desire to remarry and go on another honeymoon, Anil said that the idea had given him the thought of planning another honeymoon himself.

Amid the stories of marriage and relationships shared by different contestants, Anil Kapoor’s personal experiences will also form an important part of the show’s conversations. ‘India’s Top 1% – The Anil Kapoor Show’ will air on Star Plus and JioHotstar.
